Tap the + button on the home screen. Enter a name and target date, choose a background colour or photo, then tap Save.

Open the countdown by tapping its card, then tap the edit icon in the top-right corner. From the edit screen you can update any detail or scroll down to tap Delete Countdown.

Go to Settings → Sync Now. TimeTurner will push your countdowns to your private iCloud account and pull any changes from other devices signed in with the same Apple ID. Sync is always manual — nothing happens automatically in the background.

Make sure iCloud Drive is enabled for TimeTurner in iOS Settings → Apple ID → iCloud → iCloud Drive. Both devices must be signed into the same Apple ID and have an active internet connection. If problems persist, try signing out of iCloud and back in.

Open a countdown's detail screen and tap Set as Widget. Then long-press your home screen, tap the + button, search for TimeTurner, and add your preferred widget size. The widget updates automatically.

Open the countdown you want displayed and tap Set as Widget again. This refreshes the widget snapshot. If the widget still looks stale, try removing and re-adding it from your home screen.

Yes. When creating or editing a countdown, tap the photo swatch in the background picker to choose an image from your library. Note that the home screen widget always shows the gradient colours — photos cannot be displayed in widgets due to an iOS restriction.

If you have iCloud Backup enabled, your device backup includes TimeTurner's local database. You can also use iCloud Sync to keep a copy of your countdowns in your iCloud account, which makes restoring to a new device easy.

Uninstalling TimeTurner removes all local data. To also remove iCloud data, go to iOS Settings → Apple ID → iCloud → Manage Account Storage and delete TimeTurner's data, or disable iCloud Drive for TimeTurner before uninstalling.
